TDP modifies the candidates for five divisions of the Assembly

Five seats were changed by the TDP, which is running in 144 of the 175 Assembly seats and 17 of the 25 Lok Sabha divisions as part of the alliance with the BJP and Jana Sena.

At his Undavalli home on Sunday, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu gave B-forms to the politicians running in the elections.

As anticipated, TDP’s Narasapuram Parliamentary President Manthena Rama Raju was named to succeed K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, the existing MLA, in the Undi Assembly seat. The candidates for the Paderu, Madugula, Venkatagiri, and Madakasira Assembly seats were also replaced.

The ticket was allotted to the Jana Sena Party, therefore former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy, who wanted to run from Pendurthi, was unable to get it. He is been tipped to run for the Madugula Assembly seat, nevertheless, as Pyla Prasad has been dropped by the TDP.

Former Paderu MLA Giddi Eswari received the ticket when Venkata Ramesh Naidu was dismissed by the party. Disappointed that she was not allowed to run in the elections, Eswari said she would run as an independent.

In a similar vein, MS Raju was awarded the Madakasira constituency seat when Suneel Kumar was removed. Suneel Kumar’s supporters were enraged over this, causing furniture damage at the Madakasira TDP headquarters and yelling chants criticizing Naidu’s leadership and party general secretary Nara Lokesh.

Meanwhile, it has come to light that candidates for the seats of Thamballapalle (Jayachandra Reddy) and Dendaluru (Chintmaneni Prabhakar) have not yet received B-forms. Furthermore, the Anaparthi sector is still unclear. The TDP leadership believes that in the event that the saffron party gives TDP leader Nallamalli Ramakrishna Reddy Anaparthi, it should award one of the two aforementioned seats to the BJP. Even though there have been rumors that Ramakrishna Reddy intends to join the BJP and run from Anaparthi, no decision has been made yet.

The TDP head instructed the candidates to always follow the party’s policies as he gave them their B-forms. He gave the candidates an oath, urging them to swear allegiance to the party in order to work for the good of the people. In order to create an ideal society, they also promised to commit their lives to serving the people and working for the development of all groups, regardless of caste, creed, or religious affiliation.

They also promised to support everyone in the State’s right to self-respect and work toward realizing TDP founder NT Rama Rao’s goals. TDP candidates pledged to support the people and work with the party to restore the State.
