The BJP adjusts its micro-level approach in Telangana to meet their goal of gaining 10 seats

The BJP intends to make a significant effort to connect with the recipients of Union government programs in order to meet its goal of gaining at least 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

As part of its Mahajan Sampark campaign, the saffron party intends to court the recipients and their families with its “Intintiki BJP (BJP for every home)”.

The 30-day campaign, a draft of which TNIE has access to, outlines the daily activities that should be participated in. The plan of action to be followed on election day is also included in the draft. The BJP intends to hold the Mahajan Sampark event twice in Telangana as part of the campaign.

According to the draft, leaders should make sure that 50 women line up at each polling place and that BJP workers cast their ballots early on May 13 when voting starts. The campaign action plan includes meetings for social media activists, booth management, and meetings at the booth and shakti kendra levels.

Amarnath Sarangula, a BJP spokeswoman, told TNIE that the party’s future depended on what happened during the following 24 hours. “We are using a three-pronged approach in this campaign, focusing on management at the booth level, interacting with those who benefit from Union government programs, and holding brief meetings with influential voters.”

According to Amarnath, there are 65 lakh people in Telangana who have benefited from Union government projects. The party intends to contact these people personally or over the phone in an effort to convert them to BJP supporters. According to him, the party values crucial voters who are seen as local political influencers, such as physicians, attorneys, engineers, and other professions. According to Amarnath, the BJP intends to have at least one lakh informal interactions with these significant voters.
