There is a fire at PVT School

Residents of Gurugram’s Sector 37-C were terrified after a private school caught fire on Tuesday morning.

The Haryana government ordered a two-hour delay in the start of school due to Ashtami Puja, which prevented a big disaster from happening since no pupils were in the building at the time of the occurrence. After four fire engines were sent, the fire was contained in thirty minutes.

According to a senior fire official, the incident started at 8:40 a.m. at the Narayana E-Techno School in Sector 37-C. The vice-principal’s office at the school was one of the three rooms that caught fire. The fire completely destroyed three laptops, two air conditioners, and over 500 pairs of student clothing that were housed in the warehouse. Fire officer Jaspal Gulia of the Sector 37 fire station said that the fire started in the storage and quickly spread to two other rooms.

Four vehicles—three from the Sector 37 station and one from the Bhim Nagar fire station—were sent to the scene as soon as we received the information at 8:57 a.m. Thankfully, no staff members or students were inside these rooms, and the fire was quickly contained, the fire officer said.

“We think the fire could have been started by a short circuit. The fire was first put out by our school electrician using firefighting tools, but as it quickly spread, the fire and police departments were called in, according to Sunil Kumar, a school spokesperson.
