“Tutne Nahi Denge”: Amit Shah Says the BJP Is Up Against Divisive Forces During the Manipur Poll Rally

Amit Shah, a senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister, stated that the BJP wants to safeguard the state and that the upcoming elections are not between the BJP and the Congress but rather between those who wish to split the populace of the violent state. Shah is in Imphal, Manipur, to intensify the BJP’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

The Union Home Minister remarked, “The most important thing is that no matter how much one tries, ‘hum Manipur ko tutne nahi denge (we won’t let Manipur break)” during a public gathering in Imphal on Monday.

Shah is visiting Manipur for the first time this year. After the ethnic conflict there last year, he spent a few days in the state.

He said that the people ought to elect Narendra Modi as India’s prime minister once again, as the Lok Sabha elections are about to start.

It is not a contest between the Congress and the BJP. Instead, it’s a conflict between those who want to split Manipur and the BJP, which wishes to keep Manipur together. In addition to bringing prosperity to India during the last ten years, Modi ji has improved the country’s safety and security. After 75 years of suffering from extremism and Naxalism, the Northeast now enjoys peace and unity thanks to PM Modi.

The Union Minister further attacked Congress, claiming that the establishment party has always placed a high value on the “tukde tukde” gang.

“The Manipur BJP has eradicated corruption…Maintaining peace in Manipur is PM Modi’s top concern in the next days, he said.

Shah went on to say that there are efforts at infiltration aimed at altering Manipur’s demographics.

“The country’s destiny will shift when that of the northeast and Manipur does.”I want to bring up a point that our Chief Minister, Biren Singh, made clear to PM Modi that Manipur could not stay unified without an inner-line permission. By granting Manipur an inner-line permission, the BJP administration has strengthened the state, he said.

N Biren Singh, the chief minister of Manipur, was also present for the event.

Shah enumerated the accomplishments of the BJP administration during the previous ten years, stating that over 25 crore people had left poverty, 80 crore had gotten free rations, 10 crore had gas cylinders distributed, and 14 crore had access to tap water.
