With two days remaining for the first round of voting in the Lok Sabha elections, “mandir” politics have become more intense. IN BENGAL, RAM NAVAMI POLITICS HEAT UP

at the meantime, Amit Malviya, the chairman of the BJP IT Cell, went to X and claimed that there had been widespread violence at Ramnavami, West Bengal, last year.

He said that Mamata Banerjee’s controversial statements to the community just before the festivities were the reason for it.

He said, “However, there was no violence on Hanuman Utsav six days later when the Calcutta High Court ordered the deployment of central troops in response to a request by @BJP4Bengal. Recently, the NIA detained a number of individuals for the violence on Ramnavami, many of them were connected to the TMC. As a result, Mamata Banerjee bears all responsibility for preserving calm in West Bengal on this Ramnavami. India is observing.
