Udhayanidhi on the SC Notice Regarding Sanatan: “We Have Faith in Judiciary”

On Saturday, DMK politician and Tamil Nadu Youth Welfare Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said that he had trust in the judicial system in response to the fact that the Supreme Court has issued a notice over the Sanatan Dharma controversy.

The Minister said to the reporters present that the only place he has seen mention of the Supreme Court sending a notice is in the press, and he has not received it.

Upon being notified of the situation, he said that the necessary representation will be made before the highest court, adding, “We have faith in the judiciary.” Regarding the controversy surrounding Sanatan Dharma, on September 22 a Supreme Court bench composed of Justices Aniruddha Bose and Bela M. Trivedi issued notices on a plea submitted by a lawyer residing in Chennai by the name of B Jagannath.
