Union Minister Mandaviya: PM Modi’s Administration Is Committed To Providing Accessible, Affordable Healthcare For Everyone

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said here on Saturday that the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to provide the people of the nation inexpensive and accessible health amenities.

According to a health ministry release, Mandaviya spoke at the seventh meeting of the Central Institute Body (CIB) of AIIMS and Chintan Shivir throughout the day at the National Institute for Health and Family Welfare.

The CIB is the top decision-making authority for all AIIMS in terms of finances, infrastructure, job openings, hiring, policy enforcement, difficulties, and procurement. According to the statement, the purpose of the meeting on Saturday was to examine whether the decisions made at previous CIB sessions were still in effect.

The Union health minister addressed the group, stating that “Chintan Shivir has provided a platform to hold discussions with higher officials and experts, which will help in evolving better practices of premier health institutions like AIIMS.”

The administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to giving its citizens access to cheap healthcare. We will be able to improve the arrangements and extend the amenities at AIIMS thanks to this Chintan Shivir, he said.

The statement claimed that Mandaviya praised the actions that had been done since the sixth CIB conference and urged everyone to collaborate on new concepts, insights, and proposals in order to realize the goal of establishing all AIIMS institutions centers of excellence worldwide.

The minister further emphasized how Chintan Shivir enables a coordinated and unified attention on urgent concerns. “Treatment is simply one indicator of success for a doctor. Success is ultimately measured by how others see them and their place in society, he said.

Additionally, Mandaviya said that AIIMS is regarded by everyone as the nation’s premier institution of medical sciences and encouraged all dignitaries to guarantee that this respect be maintained. He challenged every AIIMS delegate to give the next generation a legacy of development and achievement.

In order to elevate the reputation of AIIMS, Minister of State for Health S P Singh Baghel asked the delegates, particularly the representatives from AIIMS, to work in the benefit of the nation, their patients, and their institution as a whole.

The relevance of the body is shown by the fact that many significant decisions have been made via CIB meetings, according to Dr. V. K. Paul, member of the NITI Aayog (Health). He emphasized the importance of student welfare at AIIMS and asked the organization’s leaders to keep an eye on their stress levels and workload. According to the release, he also emphasized the value of offering patients and their families counseling.

The conclave attendees discussed a variety of issues, including in-depth discussions about the implementation of prior Chintan Shivir recommendations and the operation of all new AIIMS were held.
