Union Minister Rajnath Singh said Congress is attempting to divide the north and south

Rajnath Singh, the union minister of defence, said that the congress was trying to create division between the people in the north and south of the nation. He was addressing on Tuesday during a roadshow in favor of A Asuvathaman, the BJP candidate for Tiruvannamalai.

The roadshow began in Kamarajar state and ended at the Gandhi monument in Tiruvannamalai, covering a total of two kilometers. Speaking to BJP members at the function, Rajnath Singh said that the Congress and its supporters were trying to plant seeds of discord between India’s north and south.

“The goal of Congress and its supporters is to divide our country into two regions: the North and the South. BJP, on the other hand, believes that all regions—East, North, West, or South—should live in harmony with one another,” he said.

Singh emphasized the party’s commitment to fostering intercultural understanding by mentioning Lord Ramachandran’s respect.

He compared the nationalist agenda of the BJP with the DMK and Congress’s emphasis on family. He said, “India has made significant progress in the global economy under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, rising from the 11th to the fifth position, with ambitions to reach the third place by 2027.”
