Website for Maharashtra NEET Undergraduate Counseling 2023 launched; registration opens tomorrow

For admission to medical programs under the state’s quota, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has built the cetcell.net.in/NEET-UG-2023 website for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counseling. Starting on July 24, qualified candidates may register and submit an application for counseling to secure medical seats at prestigious colleges around Maharashtra.

However, the whole Maharashtra NEET UG counseling schedule and booklet have not yet been made available to the public. The information leaflet for applicants will include information on the application and counseling process, cost structure, eligibility criteria, and reservation regulations, among other topics.

The CET Cell also made the previous year’s cut-off scores available for review on the newly launched website in order to help students better understand their chances of admission. Students may search it up to obtain an idea of the medical schools that, depending on their grades and India-wide rankings, they could be eligible for. However, this list is only indicative and does not guarantee a medical seat this year.

Before beginning the application process, candidates are recommended to gather their supporting documentation and get acquainted with the qualifying requirements. Registration, payment of fees, option selection, choice locking, seat assignment, announcement of results, and reporting to the allotted institution are all milestones in the NEET counseling process.

Students who passed the NEET UG 2023 may submit the registration form to register for the NEET Maharashtra counseling in order to be admitted into the MBBS and BDS programs. The committee has issued a comprehensive list of participating MBBS and BDS medical institutions for NEET UG counseling 2023 on the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in. This list also includes information on the offices that issue disability certificates, each medical college’s bonding policies, and its profile.

The selection process for the first round of NEET counseling has already started at mcc.nic.in, according to the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The allocation will be handled based on the choices made, students are told, and once the selections are locked, they cannot be changed.

Similar to this, registration for round one All India Quota (AIQ) seats for counseling started on July 20. The online application deadline for round one MCC counseling is July 25. This is in accordance with the NEET UG 2023 counseling calendar. The four counseling sessions that MCC will provide this year include rounds 1, 2, 3, and a round for stray vacancies.
