West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Has Called for Large-Scale Rally on March 10 at Brigade Parade Ground

Brigade Parade Ground: On Wednesday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced plans to hold a sizable demonstration on March 10 at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground. Remarkably, on Wednesday, West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas area hosted a public gathering that was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a social media post, Bengal’s chief minister Banerjee implied that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not be forgiven for their lack of forbearance by calling them “Bohiragoto Jomidars,” or foreign landowners.

Bengal’s politeness and tolerance should not be seen as a sign of weakness. On March 10, it is necessary to remind the Bohiragoto Jomidars about this. This Sunday’s #JonogorjonSabha at Brigade Ground will go down in history as the land that has always defended its rights is brought together. Come along as we spearhead the populace’s campaign for a safe future for Bengal. Bengal will lead by example,” she wrote on X.

Along with this tweet, Mamata Banerjee also released a video message in which she can be heard pleading with the people of the state to congregate in large numbers at the Brigade Parade Ground.

“We will be stopping funding for road construction, house construction, 100-day work, health programs, and several other schemes in order to protest against the way Bengal and its people are being deprived.” The Chief Minister said, “They are attempting to instigate unrest in Bengal, which goes against the Bengali culture. People in Bengal do not discriminate based on religion, and they welcome individuals from different backgrounds.

Bengal is India’s cultural capital, and it respects all cultural traditions. We argue that even if individuals practice other religions, everyone is welcome to participate in the celebrations that surround them. We are not prejudiced against one another. The Chief Minister said, “We cannot tolerate how they are attempting to split Bengal and eradicate Bengali culture.

“Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Muslim, and Christian cultures are all ones that I adore.” We all adore one another. We see each other as a single unit. However, demeaning Bengal implies that you are also dehumanizing the people who are residing here, the speaker said.

According to Banerjee, Bengal would do the same for India, just as it did for that country during the liberation movement.

Bengal has paved the path for India’s rebirth and the liberation fight. Bengal has aided in the progress of the nation. There is a plot to completely dismantle Bengali consciousness. For a day, let us band together to fight this plot, the Chief Minister said.
