Champions of senior men’s hockey, SGGS-26
In today’s Chandigarh State Senior Men & Women Hockey Championships held at the Sector 42 Sports Complex, SGGS Hockey Club-26 Blue defeated SGGS Hockey Club-26 Red 2-0.
The squad won thanks to two goals from Sonia Devi (17th and 34th minutes) from penalty corners.
In the meantime, 3BRD Air Force was defeated 4-0 by SGGS Hockey Club-26 to claim the men’s championship.
SGGS Hockey Club scored goals via Paramvir (9th minute), Harjeet (23rd), Sumit (31st), and Navjot (53rd). CISF was beaten 5-1 by AG Punjab Haryana in the third-place match.
