“Gautam Gambhir Said Meet Me Outside”: Former Indian Celebrity Tells An Interesting Story

Manoj Tiwary, a former cricket player for the Kolkata Knight Riders and India, has dug deep into the past and shared some fascinating tales from his career as an international player. Although Tiwary put up his cricket boots a few days ago, he still has regrets and concerns to talk about from his time playing for the Indian squad. Giving a fascinating account, Tiwary said that the only thing he regrets is the argument he got into with former India batsman Gautam Gambhir during a Ranji Trophy game

“Those who know me will tell you that I am not the kind of person who goes out there and gets into arguments with seniors. The fight I had with Gambhir that day is the only regret I have.” I could have averted that particular memory. I get along well with my seniors, but one event ruined my reputation,” Tiwary said to Sports Now.

While playing together with the Kolkata Knight Riders of the Indian Premier League, Gambhir and Tiwary came into contact with one another. The Bengal cricketer said that, while they finally parted ways, he was once really close to the Delhi boy.

We were so close at one point, which is why I said that it is my greatest regret. We used to debate and strategize a lot while we were playing for KKR over who to choose in Kolkata. We used to discuss specifics and inputs in our connection. However, things did not work out as they ought to have,” he lamented.

Also disclosed by Tiwary was Gambhir’s request to meet outdoors in order to resolve a disagreement, which was never fulfilled.

“Tu bahar mil match ke baad, ((Meet me after the match) and aaj tu gaya (you are finished today)?” ?Yes, it was really immature of him to say that (laughs). Every word that is said in the underground journalist’s tent in Kotla is audible to everybody. However, given my physical characteristics and his physical characteristics, who knows who may have crossed paths outside of the ground? (laughs again).

“Like me, Gambhir is an avid cricket player. However, emotion may sometimes bring to light some things that ought not to happen in public. It came as a surprise, and a lot more things were spoken. However, I made no mistakes,” Tiwary said.

The narrative ended there since the two cricket players never got together to resolve their issues outdoors.
