In Season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Maninder Singh will captain the Bengal Warriors

Maninder Singh, the talisman raider for Bengal Warriors, was successfully retained before the Pro Kabaddi League’s historic 10th season.

The 33-year-old, who was essential to the Bengal Warriors’ success last year, spoke about being kept on and continuing to play for the group.

“I had confidence that I would be a part of the Bengal Warriors before the auction, and even my family had a similar inkling,” Maninder stated. My home team is the Bengal Warriors since I have been a player for them for a long. The team’s culture is always positive, which enables me to freely express myself during games.

This time, we’ll try to do better than we did the previous year and, with the help of our new staff, we’ll aim to contend for the coveted prize.

Maninder, who cost Rs. 2.12 crore, rose to third place in the Pro Kabaddi League’s auction for its tenth season.

Maninder replied, “I really don’t think about the price, although I am honored that the Bengal Warriors showed faith in me and my hard work to retain me for the price they did and I am thankful for it too. So it does not add any pressure on me. ” When asked about the added pressure of a significant price tag, Maninder said. Throughout the season, I will give the squad all I have.

Maninder will be in his sixth season with the Bengal Warriors after joining the club in 2017.

He continued by discussing the new squad lineup, saying, “I am delighted to play with all of the guys that are on the team this season. We’ll try to develop ties as a family. I can’t wait for the camp to begin so that I can start talking to everyone. Many new and young players would want to show off their skill, and as one of the team’s seniors, I hope I can assist mentor them and help them reach their full potential.

Kasinatha Baskaran, who has been working with Maninder at the Bengal franchise since 2017, is the head coach of the Bengal Warriors.

“Bhaskaran sir and Prashanth sir are fantastic coaches, their technical knowledge of the game is phenomenal,” Maninder stated while discussing the technical staff’s good impact on the squad. They are excellent instructors because they are approachable and never oppressive or domineering, and they offer us the freedom to grow and express ourselves, which is wonderful.

“I was retained by the Bengal Warriors because of the fans,” he concluded with a message to the team’s supporters. I am appreciative of their affection and admiration for me because, for a team like ours, our devoted supporters are like gods. Therefore, we’ll make sure to go above and beyond their expectations.
