“According to Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, Dar committed a Level 1 offense.

He took the match referee’s punishment after acknowledging his wrongdoing. The Match Referee’s ruling is definitive and enforceable for Level 1 violations of the Code of Conduct, the Indian Premier League stated in a statement on Thursday.

In Wednesday night’s close victory against DC, Rasikh excelled with the ball, concluding with figures of 3/44 from four overs and claiming the crucial wickets of B Sai Sudarshan, Shahrukh Khan, and R Sai Kishore.

With only two first-class matches and seven List A matches under his belt since his competitive career started in 2018, the Jammu and Kashmiri player was given the task of bowling the 19th over, with GT needing 37 from 12 balls.
Despite giving up eighteen runs in the last over, he managed to get Sai Kishore with an inswinging yorker to bring the Titans back into play.
