Kalidou Koulibaly has completed his transfer from Chelsea to Al Hilal

Senegalese stopper defender Kalidou Kouibaly was acquired by Saudi Pro League team Al Hilal from Premier League team Chelsea in a stunning coup.

According to sources, the agreement authorized the London team to transfer payments of slightly over 20 million euros. Additionally, it is said that the 32-year-old would make a handsome amount of around 25 million euros every year for the following three years.

Al Hilal have made significant transfer market investments, buying into the high ambitions of the oil-rich Middle Eastern country that have made significant transfer market investments.

Ruben Neves, a Portuguese midfielder for Wolves, was also transferred by Al Hilal for a staggering 55 million euros.

Koulibaly now plays with former Chelsea colleague N’Golo Kante in the Saudi Pro League after the World Cup-winning Frenchman recently signed with Al Ittihad.

In an unexpected turn of events, Al Ittihad also succeeded in signing Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema during the current window.

Hakim Ziyech, a midfielder, and Edouard Mendy, a goalkeeper, seem to be leaving Chelsea as well for the Gulf country.

Mendy may be moving to Al Hilal to team up with Koulibaly, but Moroccan winger Ziyech is almost done moving to Al Nassr, where he will play with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo signed with the Saudi team during the previous transfer window after his connections with Manchester United had worsened as a result of an explosive Piers Morgan interview.

As the Croatian midfielder departed the Blues to join Pep Guardiola’s Premier League-winning Manchester City squad, Chelsea confirmed the signing of French midfielder Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.
