Major League Pickleball India and PPA Tour India will start in 2025
A contract has been signed by the United Pickleball Association and Global Sports to bring Major League Pickleball and the PPA Tour (Professional Pickleball Association) to India.
The organizations will start major campaigns to introduce a younger audience to the rapidly expanding sport. In August, during the PPA Tour India Monsoon Pickleball Championships in Mumbai, the top PPA Tour players will put on a major show. Twenty players from the PPA Tour will also participate in the event’s pro category. The Indian Open 2025, a 1,500 PPA ranking point event, will take place in India in February 2025 as part of the official PPA Tour. Professional players from throughout the globe will take part in this first PPA Tour tournament in Asia.
In an effort to increase professional pickleball’s worldwide exposure and provide players a chance to move up the rankings, PPA Tour India will formally debut and award PPA Tour ranking points to competitors in tournaments around the nation.
