MFA League: Western Railway defeated Income Tax 3-0, with striker Somit scoring two goals

In a Tuesday Premier Division (Corporate) match in the Mumbai Football Association (MFA) League at St. Pius College field in Goregaon, Income Tax was defeated 0-3 by Western Railway thanks to a strong collective effort.

Somit PT, a striker with strong finishing ability who scored two goals—one in each half—led the WR attack. WR scored their third goal via Mervin Stephen.

In the meantime, at the Neville D’Souza Ground in Bandra, South Mumbai United defeated Boxer FC 2-1 in a First Division match. Forwards Rajveer Kesari and Ranvir Malik of South Mumbai scored, while Boxer FC’s Manav Salvi cut the lead.

Jupiter SC defeated Carmelites SC by a close 1-0 margin in a Second Division match. Pradnesh Kadam, a striker, scored the winning goal.
