On July 3, the AIFF Executive Committee will make a decision on corporate bidders seeking direct entry into the I-League

The five corporate bidders seeking direct entrance into the I-League will be decided upon by the executive committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) during its meeting on July 3.

The AIFF executive committee will get together on the margins of the current SAFF Championships the day before the annual general meeting of the national organization. On July 4, which also happens to be the day of the regional tournament’s championship, the AIFF AGM will take place.

Friday’s video conference meeting of the AIFF League Committee was to discuss the five corporate bids from YMS Finance Pvt Ltd (Varanasi, UP), Namdhari Seeds Pvt Ltd (Bhaini Sahib Village, Punjab), Nimida United Sports Development Pvt Ltd (Bengaluru), Concatenate Advest Advisory Pvt Ltd (Delhi), and Bunkerhill Pvt Ltd (Ambala, Haryana).

Although all five bids were evaluated during the meeting, which was presided over by Lalnghinglova Hmar and included AIFF Secretary General Shaji Prabhakaran, it was deemed advisable to defer to the Executive Committee’s ultimate decision about the admission of the clubs.

However, the League Committee determined that each offer has the necessary financial resources to compete in the I-League, according to a statement from the AIFF.

An impartial financial expert has already analyzed and assessed the five offers.

“The fact that so many people are interested in putting money in Indian football is quite encouraging. They even want to build their own stadiums, which is difficult in India, according to Prabhakaran.

“It demonstrates that they have the bandwidth and the resources. The entry of new teams into the top level demonstrates enthusiasm, optimism, and financial investment in football. The League Committee Chairman, Hmar, said, “We need to see which clubs are accepted into the system since the future of Indian Football depends on what is done in the next few days.

“All of the bidders have shown that they possess the capacity and resources necessary to manage and administer teams at the Hero I-League level. The AIFF has accomplished something by receiving so many proposals. They will only contribute to the improvement of Indian Football. The current AIFF administration, which assumed control of the federation in September last year, will hold its inaugural AGM at noon on July 4.
