Pakistan Agrees To Play India On October 14 At The ODI World Cup 2023: Report

Instead of the initially planned date of October 15, the headline World Cup match between India and Pakistan will now take place in Ahmedabad on October 14. The PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) and BCCI (Indian Cricket Board) have reached an understanding about the planned change of dates for two of Pakistan’s matches.

Additionally, Pakistan will face Sri Lanka on October 10 in Hyderabad as opposed to October 12 to provide them a three-day break before the India match. Due to problems with the deployment of security on the first day of the Navratri celebration in Ahmedabad, the India vs. Pakistan game had to be postponed.

In order to reschedule two of its group matches, including the one against India in Ahmedabad, the ICC and BCCI have made contact with the PCB.

As it seems that just a few more games involving other teams will also be delayed, the ICC will shortly provide a new schedule.

The current Pakistani schedule for the 2023 ICC World Cup:

Netherlands on October 6 in Hyderabad Sri Lanka on October 12 in Hyderabad. India on October 15 in Ahmedabad. Australia on October 20 in Bengaluru. Afghanistan on October 23 in Chennai. South Africa on October 27 in Chennai. Against Bangladesh on October 31 in Kolkata Day match on November 4 against New Zealand in Bengaluru.
