“Ready to Roar”: Leading Pacer Jasprit Bumrah Acquires A Position With The MI Squad Before The 2024 IPL

Today at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the much awaited 2024 season of the lucrative T20 franchise competition, the Indian Premier League (IPL), begins with a tantalizing match between the reigning Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Players from all 10 teams have begun reporting to their various camps as the top T20 competition approaches. The Mumbai Indians, who are tied for the most wins in the league’s history, welcomed back their star bowler Jasprit Bumrah with a special video.

With the caption, “Ready to Road,” MI posted a video of the well-known Indian seamen as a well-known Punjabi song played in the background.

The short ad included the words “I am here” written on a shoe, and then a dramatic cut to images of the legendary pacer, who has worried batters throughout his illustrious career.

The Mumbai Indians will open their campaign on March 24 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad against the Gujarat Titans, the runners-up from the previous edition.

The game will be remembered for Hardik Pandya’s return to Ahmedabad as the former GT captain, but this time the fearless all-rounder will be wearing the Mumbai blue.

It will be intriguing to see how the 30-year-old returns to lead their rivals and how the GT fan base responds.

Pandya, who had a very successful run with MI from 2015 to 2021, won the championship with GT on their first attempt at winning in 2022, and in 2023, they had a strong run to the final once again.

Prior to the season, Pandya was moved to MI, where he assumed leadership of the squad after being elected captain to replace Indian captain Rohit Sharma.
