According to Sportstak, the Indian team for the T20 World Cup would be revealed on May 1.

According to a source, BCCI secretary Jay Shah already said that Rohit Sharma would captain Team India in the T20 World Cup, which is slated for June.

Jay Shah was cited as Rajkot stating, “I want to promise you that in 2024 (T20 World Cup), under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, we will hoist the Indian flag in Barbados,” during his speech at the opening of Niranjan Shah Stadium.

According to reports, he also said that Hardik Pandya will lead the team in the T20I World Cup as vice captain.

“Virat isn’t the kind of player who will skip a series without any major urgency,” the BCCI secretary said in relation to Virat Kohli’s decision to miss the Test series against England. Give it to him.

“Everyone has to play the Ranji trophy ahead of getting selected in the India team or IPL franchise,” Jay Shah stated in reference to the significance of the Ranji Trophy. Every player will be required to use Ranji.
