Virender Sehwag silences Vaughan, saying, “They want to play IPL in India, not Bazball in England.”

Once again displaying his uncensored persona, Virender Sehwag ridiculed Michael Vaughan for applauding the England cricket team’s “Bazball” strategy. Sehwag said at the outset that despite creating the game, England won the World Cup in 2019.

Sehwag said shortly after that English players would prefer to play in the Indian Premier League and make money than to play Bazball cricket at home. Along with criticising England’s team culture and media, he also said that India now has more influence in cricket.

“In 2019, England won the World Cup and invented the game.” They seem to have won the World Cup after winning one Ashes match and one match against India. However, Virender Sehwag said, “That’s the culture of the England team, media, board, or players.” Adam Gilchirst and Michael Vaughan were panelists on the Club Prairie Fire Podcast.

“But now that everything is moving to India, the trend is shifting. They will attend the IPL if they want to make money. They would rather play the Indian Premier League (IPL) in India than “Bazball” in England. That is true. The best players in England don’t want to play Test matches or their hundred-ball contests during the IPL,” Sehwag said.

Sehwag is no stranger to criticising England’s ‘Bazball’ strategy. “English company Karlo Entertainment. Jeet jaisi cheez, dull After India trounced England in the Ranchi Test and took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the 5-Test series ahead of the IPL 2024, Sehwag commented on ‘X’, “Bharat, Australia, New Zealand kar lenge.”

“Batti Gull, Bazball. An order must exist for crazy. Especially after the second test match, England looked foolish and lacked the necessary game. Their problems were exacerbated by the captain’s utter failure, and they seemed to be delusional. England lacked a method to madness, which is necessary for this strategy to succeed. Sehwag wrote this after India won the series 4-1 in Rajkot with an innings and 64 runs.
