A man and his two sisters were killed in a hit-and-run accident near Pari Chowk in Greater Noida

Noida: A motorbike belonging to a family was reportedly struck by an unidentified vehicle on Friday, resulting in the deaths of three family members, including an adolescent, in a traffic accident when they were returning from a wedding event in Greater Noida. The fourth pillion sustained severe injuries and is now receiving care, while the guy who was riding the bike and two of his sisters were pronounced dead at the hospital. Around two in the morning on Thursday, there was an accident close to the Pari Chowk roundabout, and the victims were rushed to the closest hospital for treatment.

After the marriage ceremony in Kasna, Surendra Singh (28), his brother Anshu (14), sister Shaili (26), and friend Simmi of Anshu were making their way back to their Kulesara area homes. The only survivor, Simmi, is still undergoing medical care; Surendra, Shaili, and Anshu passed away despite the best efforts of the medical team.

The victims were reportedly run over by the speeding automobile after it struck the motorcycle. The car that struck the cyclist has not yet been identified by the authorities, although security camera video is being searched for. So far, there have been no arrests.

In 2023, there were 1,176 traffic accidents in Gautam Buddh Nagar, which includes the towns of Noida and Greater Noida. Of them, 470 people died and 858 were injured.

According to government figures, the district had 437 such fatalities and 856 injuries in 2022.
