According to the UP CM, “Shiv Shakti Point” represents New India’s commitment to global welfare

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to rename the “Vikram” lander’s landing site on the Moon as “Shiv Shakti Point,” saying it demonstrates the “new India’s” commitment to global welfare.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi established August 23 as “National Space Day” earlier in the day, the day the spacecraft touched down on the south pole of the moon.

Shiv Shakti Point and Tiranga Point are the locations where the Chandrayaan-2 lander crashed-landed on the Moon in 2019 and lander “Vikram” touched down on the lunar surface, respectively.

While congratulating and talking with researchers from the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Bengaluru, Modi made the news.

Adityanath praised the prime minister’s three big announcements, saying, “The idea of wellbeing is inherent in the name of Lord Shiva, who holds the moon on his head. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s designation of the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 as “Shiv Shakti” demonstrates New India’s commitment to global wellbeing.

According to the official release, he also said that the annual observance of August 23 as “National Space Day” would help to preserve in the minds of the people of the nation the memory of the historic accomplishment of raising the Tricolor on the Moon.

According to the press release, Adityanath remarked that the prime minister’s choice would help inspire space research in the nation.

Adityanath said that the prime minister has sent a message to the nation’s citizens by renaming the spot where Chandrayaan-2 left its imprints as “Tiranga Point” to “never be defeated by failure,” and that this place is a sign of strong will strength, energy, and constant endeavour.
