Minor’s Father and Two Brothers Kill Her in Kaushambi, UP

According to authorities, a 17-year-old girl was killed here on Saturday after being reportedly hacked to death with an axe by her father and two brothers.

They claimed that the event happened in her Muzaffarpur Tikri village in the Sarai Akil region.

Despite her family’s objections, the victim, Preeti, used to routinely speak to a guy from the same village on the phone, according to the police.

Preeti’s father Manrakhan Singh and two brothers Radheshyam Singh and Ghanshyam Singh are accused of killing her with an axe on Saturday after becoming upset about her unwillingness to stop talking to the guy.

Police Superintendent (SP) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava said that the three suspects had been taken into custody and had admitted to perpetrating the crime.

In this case, strict legal action would be taken. The corpse has been submitted for a postmortem, the SP said.
