Sanatan Dharma cannot be destroyed by parasites of power: Yogi

‘Parasites of power’ cannot destroy Sanatan Dharma, which is the unchanging truth, according to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who made this statement on Thursday. He emphasized that not even Mughal emperors like Babar and Aurangzeb could defeat it with their terrible schemes.

At a cultural event held here at Police Lines on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Yogi took aim at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin’s Udhayanidhi Stalin for making a contentious statement against the Sanatan Dharma without naming him. Yogi claimed that even Ravana and Kansa, with all of their haughtiness and power, could not harm the Sanatan Dharma.

The chief minister said that criticizing Sanatan Dharma amounted to a deliberate effort to destroy mankind. He said that the Sanatan Dharma is an energy source similar to the Sun and that “only a fool can think of spitting at the Sun, for it will naturally come back to the face of the person that spits.”

CM Yogi made fun of the opposition parties by claiming that due of their transgressions, their future generations will live in abject disgrace. He emphasized the need of having pride in Indian heritage.

All those who sought to destroy God, according to him, perished in the process. “In the last 500 years, Satan was humiliated. In Ayodhya, a Ram temple is now being constructed. The opposition is attempting to hinder India’s development via petty politics. It won’t, however. There have been efforts to distort the facts throughout history. Ravana tried to lie, didn’t he? Hiranyakashyap attempted to offend God and Sanatan Dharma before that, didn’t he? Kansa didn’t question the authority of the gods. But in their evil schemes, they were all annihilated. Remember that Sanatan Dharma is the unalterable truth; it cannot be damaged,” Yogi said.

On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, the state’s chief minister greeted the populace and said that Shri Krishna was born as the full manifestation of Lord Vishnu in order to create religion, truth, and justice. “Lord Shri Krishna’s inspiration has been consistently paving the road for humanity’s welfare across the whole globe, including India, for the last 5,000 years. Our heavenly manifestations steered the community in the shape of a distinctive beam of light whenever crimes and injustice occurred in India, Yogi said.

He said that during times of peace, Lord Shri Krishna taught the mantra “Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Faleshu Kadachana” to ordinary people to motivate them to take action. In the midst of the crisis, he also encouraged the populace to chant the mantra “Paritranaya Sadhunam Vinashaya Cha Dushkritam” in order to vanquish the evil power.

The Chief Minister attended the function with the Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, the Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, and other dignitaries.
