UP: 6-member Committee to Investigate Collapse of Barabanki Building

The six-member committee was established by the Barabanki district magistrate on Tuesday to carry out a technical investigation into the district’s multi-story building collapse, which resulted in the deaths of four people.

According to a senior administrative official, DM Avinash Kumar has instructed the committee to deliver its findings within 15 days.

According to him, the six-person team’s members also comprise an extra district magistrate (finance and revenue), a circle officer from Fatehpur, and an executive engineer from the Public Works Department.

The event, which happened on Monday in the district’s Fatehpur sector, resulted in the deaths of four persons and the injury of almost ten more.
