UP: Mentally Challenged Man Kills Mother and Sister and Injures Father

A mentally challenged guy attacked his father and mother on Wednesday at the Kareli police station neighborhood of this city in Uttar Pradesh, killing his mother and sister in both cases.

The dead have been named by the police as Anisha Begum (65), and Nikhat (35). The postmortem on their corpses has been ordered.

Deepak Bhukar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (City), said that the police were informed that Mohammad Arif had assaulted his family with a knife.

When the police arrived, they transported the wounded people to the hospital.

Arif has been placed under arrest. He threw acid bottles at the police and locals as they attempted to apprehend him, according to the police, who added that nobody was badly hurt in the incident.

Bhukar said that the accused’s mental illness was discovered during questioning.

Mohammad Qadir, Arif’s father, is being treated at SRN Hospital, according to the police.
