UP: Minor Girl Gangraped in Deserted Badaun Shoe Factory, Three Arrested

According to authorities, three men reportedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old child inside a shuttered shoe factory in the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh’s Civil Lines neighborhood. The culprit has been taken into custody, and the girl has been brought to the Government Medical College, where it is said that she is in serious condition.

According to the police, the accused invited the girl, who was raped, to the factory grounds late on Wednesday. The girl is from a low-income household in the neighborhood. Locals and the girl’s relatives filed a complaint after learning of the alleged occurrence. The offender was promptly taken into custody by the police.

The accused invited the girl to the shuttered factory where he raped her. She was also physically assaulted by them, according to the authorities. On Thursday, the suspects were apprehended as they attempted to flee and charged under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
