Uttar Pradesh: In Bareilly, a 25-year-old police officer shoots himself dead

News from Uttar Pradesh: In this district on Friday, March 8, a 25-year-old Uttar Pradesh Police constable is said to have shot himself in the head, according to authorities. Up till the evening, Amroha district official Arun Yadav had been stationed at the Gularia Gauri Shankar Temple in the Sirauli region. They said that after going back to his room, he turned off his phone and shot himself.

When police and neighbors heard gunshots, they ran to Yadav’s room where they saw him laying wounded. According to the police, he was transferred to a local hospital before passing away at the district hospital. After arriving at the Sirauli police station, Manush Pareek, the Superintendent of Police (Rural), and other officers examined Yadav’s cell phone. They also had conversations with his coworkers to try to figure out why he would have committed himself.

Yadav shot himself, according to the authorities, for familial reasons. Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, the senior superintendent of police, said that investigations are being conducted to determine Yadav’s cause of suicide. His call details are being verified and his family is being notified.
