Up till the evening, Amroha district official Arun Yadav had been stationed at the Gularia Gauri Shankar Temple in the Sirauli region. They said that after going back to his room, he turned off his phone and shot himself.

When police and neighbors heard gunshots, they ran to Yadav’s room where they saw him laying wounded. According to the police, he was transferred to a local hospital before passing away at the district hospital.
