Aditya Srivastava, the UPSC winner, Reacted Wholesomely After Seeing the Results

Aditya Srivastava, a young guy from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, realized his ambition when he earned the highest score in the renowned UPSC examinations in 2023. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the Civil Services Examination 2023 on Tuesday, April 16. Aditya received the top position. Aditya immediately rushed to social media as the results were announced and tweeted out the information. Additionally, a video of his endearing response after seeing his results has gone viral.

The video, which was taken inside their dorm in the Indian Police Service Mess, shows his companions celebrating his significant accomplishment. Aditya’s pals excitedly applauded and helped him up as he appeared affected and still trying to savor the experience, before they strolled about their hostel.

Social media users have been complimenting Aditya on his results ever since the video went viral. A commenter said, “Happy for him. “He prepared since 2017 and succeeded…,” one person said, while another said, “Congratulations on landing an AIR-1 in the IAS! Your diligence has really paid off. Best wishes for you in all of your next pursuits!

“Many thanks, sir. Finally, after 7 years of labor, it pays off!” a user remarked.

Aditya is heard saying that he hoped to be in the top 70 in another video that the UPSC topper posted on his X account. “I prayed to God in the morning to be placed among the top 70. The news took a while to really set in. However, it did, and I was ecstatic. In an interview with PTI, he said, “I don’t think anyone can say that he or she was expecting rank 1, but that’s how the exams are.”

“A journey I will cherish for a lifetime full of gratitude to all those who stood by me throughout. Dreams do come true,” he added in another tweet he sent to show his appreciation.

Aditya Srivastava is who?

Aditya attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, before graduating. He completed his education at the CMS Lucknow branch in Aliganj, where he received a 95% on his Class 12 examinations. He then attended IIT Kanpur to pursue a combined B.Tech. and M.Tech. degree.

Animesh Pradhan, Donuru Ananya Reddy, and PK Sidharth Ramkumar have secured the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively, while Srivastava holds the top slot.
