VIRAL

After a guitar video went viral, Anand Mahindra called Meghalaya CM “uber cool.”

Anand Mahindra, the chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, praised Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on X, the old Twitter platform, on Thursday after the latter’s video of him playing the guitar to a song by Iron Maiden went viral.

Mahindra invited Sangma to play at the Mahindra Blues music festival after she shared the video on X.

Mahindra wrote, “Very awesome… We need you to be here in February at the @SangmaConrad @mahindrablues!

After Sangma posted the video on Instagram, everyone was talking about it. In it, he can be seen picking up a guitar and performing Iron Maiden’s song “Wasted Years.”

According to PTI, Sangma’s appearance on December 26 at the Roof Top Cafe cafe in Tura was a part of his rock band “Saga” reunion. When Meghalaya CM was a college student in Delhi, he was a part of the band.

Sangma posted the video and said, “This time, it’s Iron Maiden Night, another rocking one.”

Iron Maiden released their fourteenth single, “Wasted Years,” as a heavy metal band from England. It was released as the first single from their 1986 album ‘Somewhere in Time’.

Sangma has taken up his guitar on previous occasions. In an Instagram video from earlier this month, he was seen playing with rock group Colours. “One of the best bands I have played with,” he said.
