Ali Zafar Reacts When a Pakistani Student Writes a Song for a Physics Exam

The majority of students have experienced being completely lost during an exam and having to use a variety of strategies to fill up their answer sheets. But a recent event from Pakistan has taken a humorous turn: on his physics assignment, a student scribbled the lyrics of a well-known love ballad. Since then, the answer sheet video has gone viral; it is said to have come from Pakistan’s Karachi Board.

The popular song Maine Tujhe Dekha Haste Hue Galo, written by musician Ali Zafar, is read out by a teacher in the viral video. The kid wrote the song in answer to a physics question. Not content to stop there, the student also provided the song’s musical notation, Tun-Tuna-Tun Tun, and laughingly acknowledged that he had fallen asleep during class physics lectures.

The instructor reassures the student not to fear physics in a fun way after going over the complete answer sheet. The video was first posted in 2022 on Ali Zafar’s official social media account. It has since made a reappearance online and received 1.87 lakh views.

This event is comparable to one that happened in Chhapra, Bihar, when a student wrote the words of a Bhojpuri song on a practical test for chemistry since they were stuck and didn’t know any better. In a publicly accessible video, the instructor can be seen probing the pupil about his peculiar response selection.

It’s interesting to note that these kinds of incidents are not unusual in Bihar, where there have reportedly been attempts by pupils to bribe teachers by stuffing Rs 100 and 500 bills into their answer papers in an effort to guarantee passing results.

test demands and concerns are brought to light by the amusing but worrisome trend of nontraditional test solutions, which has prompted authorities and educators to confront systemic problems in education.
