There are a lot of unknown and unexamined aspects in the world. These components are continuously sought after by some archaeologists and researchers in various regions of the world. However, there have been several instances when individuals have discovered at random that some of these components are valuable for millions of dollars.

The same occurrence occurred in Queensland, Australia, when a little child strolled through the park near his home in the morning. But no one was prepared for what he discovered there. The tiny child reportedly discovered a pricey sapphire stone. Currently, social media is seeing a viral increase in this news.

Riley Betteridge, an Australian seven-year-old who lives in Queensland, caught everyone off guard when he discovered a sapphire while having fun at a park, according to reports. Riley reportedly went to the park, which is 200 meters from his house, to play as normal. He discovered a gleaming stone there. He carried it home, believing it to be a pearl at first. After that, Matt and Amber Betteridge, his parents, brought it to a jeweler, who identified it as a 14.5-carat sapphire.

According to estimates, it is available for around $10,000, or about Rs 8.33 lakh, on the market. Riley can be seen wearing his school uniform in the TikTok video that has gone viral. He is giddy with excitement as he shows his father, Matt, the rare stone. In Queensland, Matt and Amber both operate their own firm.

Riley, the son of Matt Betteridge, started collecting sapphires at the age of three, according to Matt Betteridge. He continued by saying that he had previously discovered a sapphire that was buried down in the ground and was valued at around $2,000, or Rs 1.66 lakh. However, this was the most valuable stone he had discovered to date. Riley has a beautiful and valuable sapphire, according to gem-carver Peterson. He continued by saying that the stone has no interior cuts and that the cost may easily be $10,000 (around Rs 8.33 lakh).
