An old video of the tallest man in the world meeting the shortest man in the world in London becomes viral

On December 10, the world’s tallest man turned 41. To commemorate his birthday, Guinness World Records (GWR) released vintage footage of him greeting the smallest guy on record in London. Turkey’s Sultan Kosen stands eight feet three inches tall. In 2009, he rose to become the highest-living man on Earth. In contrast, Chandra Bahadur Dangi of Nepal is just 32 pounds and 251 centimeters in length. In 2014, the two connected at a London event for a special picture opportunity.

Happy birthday, Mr. Kosen! GWR shared the video on Instagram. With a message reading “A very happy birthday to tallest living man @sultankosen47,” the organization expressed its sentiment. On Guinness World Records Day in 2014, Sultan (251 cm/8 ft 2.8 in) met Chandra Dangi, the smallest man ever. Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief of GWR, joined them “it continued.

In the video, Mr. Kosen and Mr. Dangi can be seen extending their arms in an uncomfortable handshake and posing for photos.

Mr. Kosen is a part-time farmer, according to GWR. He doesn’t need to leap to get to a basketball hoop because of his height. In 2009 he surpassed China’s Xi Shun, who was just seven feet nine inches tall, to become the tallest living person in the world. In addition, he has the record for having the biggest hand on a live individual. The length of his hand, measured from wrist to middle fingertip, is 11.2 inches. Pituitary gigantism is the disorder that causes Mr. Kosen’s height.

According to the Guinness World Records, Mr. Dangi is the smallest adult person ever. 2015 saw his 75th birthday. Being a primordial dwarf means that few persons with this condition live beyond the age of thirty. He had lived all his life in the isolated mountain hamlet of Rhimkholi in Nepal.

Mr. Kosen said during the 2014 occasion, “To be able to finally meet Chandra after all this time is amazing,” according to CNN. “Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives, and when I look into Chandra’s eyes, I can see he’s a good man,” he said.

In the meanwhile, Mr. Dangi expressed his happiness at seeing “the tallest man in the world.” “I was interested in meeting my complete opposite. Being the owner of a Guinness record makes me very happy. As a result, I have been to several nations and made many friends. I adore it so much,” he said.
