Ever Consider Deep-frying Dandelions? It Was Made Possible by This Woman

Culinary horrors meticulously crafted for viral appeal have been popularized by pop culture. Though the viewer’s or content creator’s interpretation of strangeness may differ, the genre is united by a few distinguishing characteristics. A growing tendency among contemporary chefs is to provide “shocking” food for their customers. Online, fried dandelions have become popular as a new fad.

A lady was shown in an Instagram video claiming that dandelion “tastes just like fried chicken.” In the Instagram film, a lady can be seen collecting dandelions in a dish after harvesting them. She washes the flowers well and then lets them air dry.

She mixes the milk and eggs on a plate in the meantime. In another bowl, she combines flour with a variety of spices, including black pepper, lemon pepper, and fajita seasoning. She then uses a pan to melt homemade butter. She coats the dried flowers in the flour mixture and dips them in the egg mixture before putting them on the pan. She then gives us a glimpse of the fried petals, which seem to be crispy. After trying them, she calls them “amazing.” At last, she eats them with ribs.

With 118,000 views, the video has gone viral due to the overwhelming amount of attention it has garnered online. There was controversy about this way of cooking dandelions on Instagram. A few expressed interest in giving it a try, but others weren’t convinced.

Yum, a user commented. These seem really healthy and tasty. I appreciate you sharing.

One more adopted a humorous stance, stating, “How I made my dandelions taste like chicken. I initially gave them to the hens before eating the chicken.

I like fried dandelions, a user said in a remark. I am really excited to produce some shortly.

“There is absolutely no way that this tastes anything like chicken,” said someone else in the meantime.

Dandelion blossoms are said to be a great source of iron, calcium, protein, and vitamins A and C. They also boost your immune system, enhance digestion, and promote healthy skin.
