Farmer disappears in an instant after a crocodile attack while trapping crabs with friends

According to a report by the Independent, a horrible occurrence took place in the Malaysian state of Sabah on Wednesday when a 23-year-old man lost his life to a crocodile attack while trying to catch crabs in the waters of Kampung Tinagian, Tanjung Labian. The victim’s three companions were unable to do anything except watch in shock as the reptile rushed at and quickly snatched up their comrade.

The young man’s buddies were reportedly there throughout the terrible meeting. The three companions could only watch as the assault transpired in a single second, according to Rohan Shah Ahmad, the district police head for Lahad Datu. Before they could take action, the companion disappeared under the sea in an instant.

At 7.20 a.m. local time, the victim’s dead corpse was found; his left arm and head had bite marks. Additionally, scratches were discovered on his back, chest, and neck. Authorities took the bodies to Lahad Datu Hospital for a thorough examination in light of this unfortunate tragedy.

The police head recommended residents to take additional precautions while near water bodies including rivers and seas. The crocodile attack at Lahad Datu this year was initially recorded in this occurrence.

Another terrifying event that happened earlier this year was a woman and daughter who were attacked by a crocodile in Malaysia, according to News18. Raminten, 38, and Natasyah, 9, were attacked by a crocodile while doing laundry on the riverside in the Malaysian state of Selangor, close to Sungai Merbau.

The predator, which is renowned for its cunning tactics, initially went for Natasyah, biting into her legs and pulled her into the water. Raminten bravely used her parental instincts and dived into the river to save her daughter, squabbling with the crocodile when it switched its attention to her.

Fortunately, the pleas for assistance were heard by several onlookers who were close by. They hurried over and took action after seeing the desperate situation. Together, they succeeded in capturing the crocodile and removing it on a boat. Raminten’s brave rescue and the quick response of the villagers eventually saved Raminten and Natasyah’s lives, despite the fact that both of them had suffered terrible leg injuries as a result of the crocodile’s bites.
