Hyderabadi Man’s House Help Gesture Internet Love for the Person Who Walked 25 Minutes to Work

For most people, the epitome of a “bad day” in an urban Indian family is the day the housemaid or house help fails to arrive without notice. Everybody relies on their home to provide a trouble-free daily existence. A Hyderabadi man’s recent act of kindness toward his housekeeper has gone viral online. The guy shared a touching tale about his domestic helper on X, the original name of Twitter. He assisted her in getting a bicycle so she could commute by bicycle.

The housekeeper is seen riding a pink bicycle in the parking lot in the widely shared footage. An X user going by the handle @TopDriverIndia (Naresh) posted the post. The user detailed the circumstances surrounding the housekeeper in a lengthy post, saying, “My chef Neeraja travels 25 minutes each way to work. She also works in two other households. She walks for about one and a half hours every day to go to work. “Inspired by @sselvan (Santhana Selvan), I encouraged her to cycle,” he said. Her first reaction was that all the people in her neighborhood would make fun of her and make fun of her. She accepted after giving it some thought for a few months. She rode her pink bicycle to work today after I funded half of it and she put the other half.

In closing, Naresh added, “Her journey time is cut down to 5-7 minutes each way!” on the post. Naresh’s thoughtful action and choice to assist Neeraja in making her everyday commute better. Neeraja’s life was made simpler by Naresh’s kind act, which also gave her the confidence to choose an eco-friendly and effective form of transportation.
