Netizens are disgusted by Momo, a live creature that resembles worms

There are vegan momos and non-vegetarian momos, but then there’s this one in particular—a “live” momo—that has internet users doubting the snack’s continued existence. That’s right, a video of a guy cooking momos is becoming popular on social media, and many aren’t sure how to respond to it. In the now-viral video, a guy is seen filling momos with live, small fish-like critters that looked like worms. Even when the feast was ready to be eaten, users on social media were still gawking and appalled by the dead animals because they could not stop thinking about the “living momo stuffing” that was trying to escape. The title of the post indicated that the snack was being prepared in China, however the date and location of the video were not verified. Instagram users who go by the moniker “Chinese street food 2023” posted the video there.

Internet users were appalled by the video once it went viral. Some termed the video “unbearable” to watch, while others questioned what kind of street food was being offered in China. A lot of people also mentioned some “better” food alternatives and made comments on the “food extremism” seen in the film. Many hundreds of people saw the video when it was posted some time ago.

People voiced their opinions in the comment area. A user said, “One day the world will witness this guy started eating humans.” “Why consume this when there are superior foods available to us as people and our options are limitless? I can’t even watch this properly, forget about eating,” said another. Another person said, “What in this world is happening.” Another person stated, “Chinese food is really annoying.” “Thank you, but no… “I’m grabbing the pizza,” a fifth internet user said. “Why don’t you people just devour one another and leave this planet?” A sixth person said, “You would be doing your environment a big service.
