“Quiet” Baraat? An impressive video of a wedding procession with headphones playing over the DJ has gone viral

The idea of a quiet “Baraat” offers a distinctive counterpoint to the increasingly popular silent discos. Recently, an intriguing video of a wedding procession including all of the Baraatis donning headphones went viral online, garnering attention for its unique perspective on festivities. Although some fans could see similarities with the idea in “The Breakup Song” from the film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” there is no denying that there is a striking similarity in the way people happily dance to music that is only played via headphones, meaning that there is no noise pollution.

The two-part video was first posted on Instagram by @shefooodie. at Part 1, participants at a contemporary Baraat are seen dancing to music that is streamed over headphones from their own devices. But the mystery really becomes revealed in Part 2, when everyone sings together and dances in unison along the streets during the wedding procession.

It’s interesting to note that the wedding is next to a cancer hospital, which emphasizes the conscious effort to keep the celebration lively without creating any disruption or noise pollution.

As the video became viral, a wide range of responses came in. An admirer of the program said, “It’s preventing noise pollution…great.” Another person said, “Dude… This is a great concept. No one else will be bothered either. However, other people were unable to contain their laughter when they considered the sight of a silent dance.

“People are saying, ‘Pagal Hoye.'”nonetheless, it’s a smart concept for the environment,” said a user. Another laughed and said, “On the road, people will think you’re crazy,” while a third said, “It’s weird when they shout out.”

In the meanwhile, “Baraats'” scenery is changing in a modern way. A recent event in Bengaluru saw a Baraat forgo the customary groom riding a Ghodi (horse) in favor of an unusual twist using Yulu motorcycles (electric scooters), which they rode in style along the road to arrive at their destination.
