The cruelest prison in the world, El Salvador’s, saw 153 prisoners die there

The El Salvador Prison leads the list of the world’s most deadly jails. A gang of 67,000 persons were recently imprisoned here. As is common knowledge, criminals are sent to prisons after committing a crime. They are closely controlled within the building so that when they leave they can integrate into society. However, the inmate living conditions at El Salvador’s prison are so appalling that many people are said to pass away there.

Following an abrupt rise in violence, Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele launched a battle on gangs in March of last year. Over 67000 individuals were then detained and locked up in the infamous El Salvador prison as a result of this. In response to a shortage of prison space, the government reportedly began building special detention facilities. There were around 2000 guys incarcerated on gang violence charges.

The accused inmates were allegedly herded like livestock, their heads down, marching like zombies in naked torsos, with their hands and feet all chained, in what was known as the cruelest jail to ever exist. Their bodies were covered in tattoos, and each one of them resembled the others exactly. According to the most recent sources, some 153 people may have passed away while in detention because they were unable to endure the suffering and abuse they were subjected to within the jail in El Salvador. Their corpses have been taken out of the building.

A human rights organization named Cristosal has reported the fatalities. According to Fox News, the deceased convicts were not even found guilty of any violent crimes. They had only been falsely accused of committing crimes. Four of the 153 fatalities were female convicts. According to the Cristosal study, severe torture is what caused the fatalities. Their bodies had significant wounds. Many people did not even get the most basic medical care.

The detainees sadly perished as a result of malnutrition, carelessness with regard to providing food, and frequent beatings by the guards. According to reports, their entitlement to basic human survival was taken away. The higher authorities have been recommended by the Cristosal report to take strict measures in response to this maltreatment by prison staff. Nayib Bukele has also been asked to speak up so that he may describe every last detail of the conditions of the inmates held there.
