The’silent’ celebration of RCB fans after SRH victory is making all the right noises

In a match played on the road on Thursday, April 25, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated an impressive Sunrisers Hyderabad team to record their second victory of the current Indian Premier League (IPL). At the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the SRH batting lineup, which had seemed unbeatable in the previous few games, collapsed while trying to reach a goal of 207 runs.

When the two sides met earlier in the season in Bengaluru, the Hyderabad-based squad produced the greatest team total in the history of the competition (287 runs) thanks to an outstanding batting display. After losing by 25 runs at home, RCB’s supporters had to put up with jeers and whistles from the other team.

Last night was a revenge night for the Bengaluru supporters. Several RCB supporters were present at the Hyderabad location. Following the visitors’ 35-run victory against SRH, a supporter sporting an RCB shirt was seen making the silent sign in jest at the home fans.

The official fan club of the Hyderabad-based team released a photo on X (formerly Twitter) after RCB lost their last head-to-head match. In the photo, a few fans were seen making the same silent gesture in mockery of the opposing fans.

After Australia’s team, headed by Pat Cummins, hushed a packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad by beating the host India by six wickets in the ICC ODI World Cup final, the response went viral for the first time.

Aside from this, a lot of funny stuff appeared on social media after RCB defeated SRH. Let’s examine a few of them:

Prior to the game, Faf du Plessis, the captain of the RCB, won the toss and chose to bat first in Hyderabad. Rajat Patidar came on strong later in the innings, but Virat Kohli’s cool half-century laid the groundwork. The youthful player hit a scorching fifty off of only twenty balls. In addition, Cameron Green scored 37 runs in a hurry, aiding RCB in setting a goal of 200 or more.

Abhishek Sharma provided SRH with a strong start, but in the first over of play, he lost his opening partner, Travis Head. Only Shahbaz Ahmed and Pat Cummins might score more than 30 runs among the future hitters. The home team ultimately gave up 171 runs in their inning.
