Samantha, a young college student juggling her academics and a part-time work as a Starbucks barista, discovered that she was attracted to one particular client, Robbie Hildebrandt, at this location. She had no idea that their accidental meeting would develop into a timeless tale of love and, in the end, become the beginning of a lifetime of companionship.

Samantha spoke to the Kennedy News about her fantasy love story as Valentine’s Week continues to fascinate. Samantha said that despite their brief introductions, she was enamored with a frequent client. But it all began when Robbie struck up a conversation with her one day in 2016 and inquired about her Thanksgiving break.

Catching the opportunity, she used a sharpie to subtly write her phone number on his vacation coffee cup in the hopes of sparking a romantic spark.

“I was ecstatic. Samantha, from Ocean City, New Jersey, told Kennedy News, “I think our conversation gave me the confidence to pursue him.”

He contacted me that evening after I scrawled my number with a marker. History is the rest,” she said.

She went on to say that she considers herself “extremely fortunate” that Robbie, her current spouse, happened to see her mobile number written on the paper cup. Samantha remarked, “I don’t know if we’d be together today otherwise.”

She said, “I felt so hopeful and excited about the future.” “I just had a feeling that it was the beginning of something incredible.”

It was at a small Italian restaurant that Samantha and Robbie went on their first date. Samantha felt loved and appreciated as a result, and a deep bond was established. “I felt special and the first proper date was very cute.” Samantha gushed, “I’d never once been taken on a date and been treated that way.” She pointed out Robbie’s actions.

Five years later, in a private ceremony, the couple reaffirmed their love for one another in front of close family and friends.

They added a symbolic touch to their party to honor their unusual meeting: they displayed a mason jar full of coffee beans branded “the perfect blend,” which served as a monument to their love story.
