This forest officer discovered an unexpected “pool party” while on patrol

Animal videos that document their everyday activities and playful behaviors never fail to amuse internet visitors. Social media is overflowing with fascinating animal-related images, from breathtaking tiger jumps to exhilarating lion encounters on jungle safaris. A similar captivating video recently thrilled wildlife fans, thanks to IFS officer Parveen Kaswan. As the officer was searching the bush for elephants, he came across this amusing sight: two rhinos having a “pool party.”

The little video was recorded early in the morning and posted on X (formerly Twitter). There were two rhinos in it. One was seen taking a cool dip in a body of water, while another stayed far back from the water behind some trees. “Lovers of pool parties. Parveen Kaswan captioned the photo, “Elephant patrolling early in the morning.”

Social media users were compelled to offer their opinions in the comments area of the video as it soon garnered popularity. It has received more than 13,000 views on X so far. Some viewers praised the cop for releasing such an engaging film, while many others thanked him for providing such a visual treat. A commenter expressed awe at the officer’s work, saying, “I love your job,” while another called the event “so surreal.” I’ve always desired work with animals. I used to watch a lot of wildlife programs on Animal Planet, Discovery, and Nat Geo. You’re in a dream world. We appreciate your efforts to improve the environment and animals.

A while back, Parveen Kaswan posted this enthralling picture of a tigress and her six pups taking a cool dip in a calm lake.

The IFS officer shared the photo and said, “Every conservationist smiles when they see scenes like this. Imagine a time when this species was in danger of becoming extinct. I’m doing well now. Six cubs under the watchful eye of their mother tigress, enjoying a relaxing bath. A really diligent mother. Somewhere from an Indian tiger reserve.

The officer received accolades from social media users for recording such a touching event.
