When a woman discovers her late brother’s touching notes “dedicated” to her, the internet reacts

A message that her late elder brother penned in his English notebook was shared by a lady on X lately. One year after her birth, at the youthful age of eleven, her brother died away. The lady was moved to learn that her brother had written about “how excited he was to be a big brother” and had “a whole section in his journal dedicated” to her. The mom, known only as “Butta,” posted a picture of a handwritten message in which the small child expressed his want for his sister to resemble him as she grew up.

Though he was very young, he seemed quite mature and serious about life. He spoke about the Spice Girls and how he wanted to be with one of them like a male. Butta said, “I actually read other journals of his but this one was so different.” Before sharing this message.

“My Baby Sister” was the title of the January 16, 1998, note, which said, “My baby sister was born on (redacted). She is 5 days old and very little.” When she grows older, my sister will attend the same school as me. You’ll find out when my sister starts talking about who she is going to be. I adore the infant and my mother. I want my sister to end up just like me.

Butta commented, “My brother was filled with love & was loved by so many,” along with pictures of her little brother. He had an amazing life. I’m glad I came into this notebook since he covers everything in great depth! I go by the moniker “butta” today since I grew up to be just like him.

Her posts received over 4.3 lakh likes after becoming viral. “Imagine being so loved by someone without ever’meeting’ them or knowing them because you were just a baby?” said a person named X in a comment on this article. It is so incredibly vital to be loved like way! I started crying.

“The permanence of the loss is part of what makes grief so hard,” another individual remarked. You are thus left with just the memories and no means of creating new ones. Thus, finding items like these gives you an opportunity to be in touch with the departed while also serving as a constant reminder of their absence.

I’m not sure if I’m trippin’, but this makes me want to weep. Last night, I was thinking to myself, ‘If you’re not the eldest kid or an older sibling, you really don’t comprehend the love we have for our younger siblings. It’s just such a different sort of love.'” said an X user.
