Your ugly ID photos will feel better when you look at this Aadhaar Card Headshot

Adhaar card photographs are often thought to not be the most attractive. Many would also complain that they now have to deal with a very unflattering headshot that they were forced to use on their Aadhaar card. Now that a picture of an Aadhaar card has gone viral, many people may feel better about the pictures on their own ID cards. The image in question depicts a youngster being coerced into staring directly into the camera. Using one hand to keep the youngster’s head towards the camera, the person holding the child covers his face. It seems as if the child in the video is about to scream.

“Show me a better Aadhar Card Photo, I will wait,” X user stated in a comment on this photo that was posted online. Since it was published on March 21, this post has received over 22,000 likes. “Just wondering what was rejected to select this as the final pic?” a user named X commented on it.

This picture seemed to have been obtained from a Baal Aadhaar card, which is intended for kids under five. Name, date of birth, gender, picture, and Aadhaar number of one of the parents or legal guardians of the kid are all included on this card.

Anjie Uchiha, a lady, posted a picture of her Aadhaar card on Facebook in June of last year. The photo showed her wearing a T-shirt with an expletive printed on it. “I cannot help but feel amused by how I casually wore a T-shirt that says ‘F*CK OFF’ on the day I had to get the ID card renewed and will now be stuck with this for probably the rest of my life,” Uchiha said in a post that included this picture.

One must go to an Aadhaar Enrollment Center or Aadhaar Seva Kendra in order to modify the picture on their Aadhaar card. An official will take the applicant’s current picture there, and it will be replaced with the previous one. The cost to update one’s biometric information on Aadhaar is Rs 100.

A peculiar story from Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, surfaced back in 2015 when a picture of an Aadhaar card given to a dog went viral. The dog’s picture appeared on the Aadhaar card, which also identified Tommy Singh, Sheru Singh’s son, as the owner. November 26, 2009, the dog’s birthdate, was also noted. Following an inquiry, the Umri local Aadhaar enrollment agency supervisor was accused of falsification.
