I, as a dakia, will diligently bring up public matters with the government: Ranaut Kangana

Kangana Ranaut, the BJP candidate from the Mandi parliamentary seat, said today that she will diligently bring her constituents’ concerns to the government’s attention if elected to the Lok Sabha.

Kangana spoke during an election rally in Mehla, which is located in the Mandi parliamentary constituency and is part of the Bharmour Assembly sector of the Chamba district.

Referring to herself as a “dakia” of people, she emphasized her resolve to function as an active go-between for the voters and the Lok Sabha, pledging to keep lines of contact open.

She accused Vikramaditya Singh, the Minister of Public Works Department and Congress candidate for the Mandi seat, of abdicating accountability when people come to him with complaints.

Kangana said, “Tikka ji originally told constituents to come to him directly for help.” But when the young people reached out to him on social media to discuss their concerns, the Chief Minister turned them down, saying he wasn’t a “dakia” (postman).

“Don’t our postmen brothers have self-respect,” she said. Being a “dakia” is indeed a very honor. They give their family their whole attention and labor honestly. She went on to say that she was the people’s “dakia” and that she would actively bring up their concerns with the national government.

“I am your ‘dakia,’ and I will bring up your concerns with the Central Government,” Kangana said. I’ll demonstrate that I’m a capable “dakia.” Send me to the Lok Sabha, the temple of democracy, and I will be your obedient messenger, taking your complaints and wishes to the government.

She called attention to the difficulties that Himachal Pradesh is facing and criticized the state administration for not doing more to address these issues. She said that the whole nation could see how Himachal was suffering as a result of the Congress’s “bad governance.”

Kangana implored the electorate to acknowledge the revolutionary influence of their votes. She said, “India has made tremendous advancements and development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.” She implored the electorate to recognize the significance of each vote and how it furthered the growth of the country.

Partygoers had earlier greeted Kangana with much affection when she arrived at Mehla. Alongside the district party office-bearers were MLAs Dr. Janak Raj of Bharmour and DS Thakur of Dalhousie who accompanied her.

Rs 1,800 crore was “misused” for flood relief efforts.

Kangana claimed that the state administration had misappropriated the Rs 1,800 crore that the federal government had given to disaster relief efforts.
She relied on her own experience of growing up in Himachal and emphasized the ongoing struggles that hill people face as a result of inadequate transportation infrastructure, which continues to burden society.
She cited pledges in the party platform, such as providing free food to 80 crore people and turning temporary dwellings into permanent buildings, to demonstrate the BJP’s commitment to meeting the needs of marginalized populations.
