“Building the nation is the BJP’s goal, not just capturing power,” claims Rajnath

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described the Congress as a “outdated” party on Friday, stating that the goal of the BJP’s politics is to create the country rather than just seize power.

“The BJP does not do politics in the name of caste, creed, or religion,” Rajnath remarked, addressing the assembly before to Telangana BJP president and Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy submitting his candidacy as the BJP’s candidate from the Secunderabad parliamentary seat. Justice and compassion are the cornerstones of its politics.

According to the top BJP politician, Duvvuri Subbarao, the former governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), stated in his book that he was under pressure to paint a “rosy picture” of the nation’s economic situation when the UPA was in power.

There is a lot of plunder and jhoot (lies) in the Congress and BRS. However, no one can blame the BJP regimes under Atal Bihari Vajpayee or Narendra Modi, respectively, he said.

In addition, Rajnath said that more than 22,000 Indian students were evacuated and that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine was suspended for four hours as a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s involvement.

According to the minister of defense, India’s economy has grown to be the fifth biggest in the world under Modi, and by 2027, it is expected to be among the top three.

Declaring that the BJP had kept all of its promises—such as building the Ram temple in Ayodhya, repealing Article 370, and outlawing triple talaq—he also declared that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) would not cause any one to lose their citizenship.

With the claim that under Modi’s leadership, over 25 crore people had been brought out of poverty, he encouraged voters to elect Eatala Rajender from Malkajgiri and Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad with a sizable majority.

Before BJP candidate Tandra Vinod Rao announced his candidacy, Rajnath took part in a roadshow in Khammam, when the town erupted in cries of Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, and Jai Modi amid performances by a variety of artists.

Rajnath, speaking at the event, said that the Congress had been “doing nothing during its rule for decades.” He said that whereas Modi lifted 25 crore people out of poverty in ten years, Nehru, Indira, and Rajiv failed to live up to their promises to end poverty.

Rajnath was greeted warmly by BJP leaders Vinod Rao, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Dharma Rao, Premender Reddy, Galla Satyanarayana, Ranga Kiran, and others as he arrived in Khammam by helicopter earlier.

People braved the intense heat to attend the ceremony in huge numbers, and the BJP officials who were riding in the campaign chariot decorated with flowers gave them a warm welcome.

Speaking to the crowd at the ZP Center, Rajnath Singh praised the Telangana people for sending a “bad” administration packing. He said that the creation of a distinct Telangana state was greatly aided by the BJP.

He said that the Congress and the BRS were two sides of the same coin and that corruption permeated both organizations. According to him, the Modi administration fulfilled its promises by eroding Article 370, triple talaq, and constructing the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He said that if the people of Khammam supported BJP candidate Vinod Rao, who was well-known for his charitable work, he would visit the town to express his gratitude. In his speech, Vinod Rao asked everyone in attendance to give him a chance to lead Khammam’s development.
