Ten Hag was ecstatic with United’s comeback victory

After inspiring a tense 4-2 victory against Sheffield United on Wednesday, Bruno Fernandes relieved some of the strain on Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, who is now under criticism.

At Old Trafford, Ten Hag’s team trailed the Premier League’s lowest team twice until Fernandes saved his struggling boss in the second half. The Blades took the lead thanks to a goal from Jayden Bogle, and even though Harry Maguire pulled one back before halftime, Ben Brereton Diaz quickly gave the visitors the lead again. With nine minutes remaining, the Portugal midfielder’s long-range rocket gave United the lead after Fernandes had saved Ten Hag with a penalty kick.

United’s fourth goal, scored by Rasmus Hojlund, made sure they could finally celebrate their first league victory in five attempts since defeating Everton on March 9. “I believe we performed quite well and generated a lot more opportunities. plenty of advantages. downsides as well, however. giving up two giveaway goals. It’s not appropriate,” Ten Hag said. “Overall, I’m pleased with the victory.

Have you seen any panic? No, not at all. We were really calm. We must take this as a lesson. It was a short-lived respite for Ten Hag, who intends to win the FA Cup and finish high enough to earn a Europa League spot in order to turn around sixth-place United’s miserable season.
