Being Priyanka Chopra’s cousin does not provide Parineeti Chopra any unfair advantages, she claims, adding that “favoritism is real, nepotism may or may not exist.”

Parineeti Chopra recently spoke about how her cousin Priyanka Chopra influenced her career. She acknowledged that she succeeded on her own, but that having Priyanka as a relative did assist. Parineeti said in an interview that she confided in Priyanka’s mother before returning to India from London due to difficult circumstances after the 2008 recession. Parineeti was overqualified, yet she was nevertheless hired by Yash Raj Films for marketing. This conversation highlights the value of family support and the ups and downs that actors experience in their professions.

Parineeti said, “If being related to Priyanka Chopra could have helped my career, then I wouldn’t have had any flops in my career,” in an interview with Raj Shamani for his podcast. In the last ten years, I have seen such lows. In reality, there is a great deal of pressure on everyone who has had any kind of affiliation with the sector. After your first opportunity, audition, or meeting, you’re on your own and have a harder time establishing yourself. There is no limit to the parallels. As a result, it might be very challenging to live if you are an outcast. Alternatively, you may be linked to someone and set up that first encounter, but thereafter it’s your own adventure. “Favoritism is real, but nepotism may or may not exist,” the actress said.

Parineeti has claimed in recent interviews that she missed out on job prospects because filmmakers mistook her absence from industry parties for something else. She did, however, demonstrate in “Amar Singh Chamkila” that she was prepared to put in the effort and try out new parts, which helped her communication skills.
